  17. This doesn't FORCE the v.34 connection, it just prefers v.34 over v.FC. 
  18. To force it, put a 0 after that comma, instead of leaving it blank or
  19. making it 1.
  20. The preference is determined by the calling modem, so this has no effect
  21. on it as an answering modem (unless you put the 0).

  26. Again, this doesn't FORCE v.FC either, it just makes v.FC preferred over
  27. v.34, similar to above.
